I really enjoyed this debut novel. I'm a sucker for a good MC story and that's what Geri delivered.
Charlie is a really great character with a heart of gold. She's a nurse at a palliative care ward. She meets Ryker while taking care of his brother. Ryker believes she's too good for him and tries to keep his distance. However when her life's in danger he wants to protect her.
A good MC read with some angst. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
