COVER REVEAL

Blurb - A Burning King of Love

Gaines, Wyoming is just a dot on the map, but it’s home to Tammy Lewis. Abandoned by her “free spirit” parents, she was raised on the Rope N Ride Ranch by her grumpy gramps and doting grandma. The land and horses are her life…and it’s in danger. A raging brush fire is sweeping down the mountain.

Dallas firefighter, Cameron Wheeler came to Gaines for duty, he didn’t expect to find destiny.  Drawn to the exotic beauty and indomitable spirit of the woman he’s sent to rescue—offered a chance at a real home and family in a new community.

Will the rescuer become the rescued? Or will the fire burning between them explode and leave only ashes behind?

Excerpt- A Burning Kind of Love

“Miss, I’m Cameron Wheeler, from Dallas Fire and Rescue. Chief West sent me to make sure you had evacuated. The winds have shifted and the fire is headed straight this way. You need to get out now.”

Tammy looked him up and down. “What does it look like I’m doing, hotstuff? Twiddling my thumbs?”

“It looks like you’re evacuating your horses. I understand that, but you may not have time for that. You need to get yourself out. The horses are only animals, you need to save yourself.”

Tammy held the lead rope to Hercules in one hand and placed her other hand on her hip. “The horses are only animals, huh? So, I should just leave them to die? To be burned to death? These horses are my life! They are my livelihood, but more than that, they are my family!”

“Listen, lady, I understand they are your livelihood, but you can’t make a living if your dead. You can always buy more horses. You can’t buy a new life.”

Tammy poked a finger in his chest. “You are not hearing me, mister. Yes, I can buy more horses, easily, because these horses are worth a fortune and each one is insured. However, I can’t replace these horses. I’ve had Hercules here since I was fifteen years old. He is a part of my family. I love him. I’m not going to leave him here to die. It would be like leaving my child here. So, if you want me to get out of here, grab a horse and help, or get your cute ass out of my way and let me load my horses.”

Tammy walked the horse forward and Cam had no choice but to step back or get run over.
